Lieutenant Harrison Porter joined the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department in 2009. He spent the first 6 years of his career at the Northeast Area Command in a patrol and field training officer capacity. Officer Porter did short stints as a Field Training officer in the Convention Center Area Command and Bolden Area Command before being promoted in February of 2017 to graveyard at Northeast Area Command.

From summer of 2017 to January of 2021, he was assigned as a Field Training Sergeant across multiple area commands before taking over a patrol investigations squad in 2021 at South Central Area Command. Sergeant Porter remained there until January of 2023.

Since 2019, Sergeant Porter was involved in ride alongs with prior chairs and was elected to the board of directors in 2022 as a sergeant. He held that position until his promotion to lieutenant. 

In January of 2023, He was promoted to Lieutenant and assigned to Northeast Area Command graveyard. In August of 2023 he was appointed to the LVPMSA Vice Chairman by the board of directors.

Charles “Tony” Brotherson began his career with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) in 2011, steadily advancing through various roles within the department. In 2021, he was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, a testament to his dedication and leadership.

In addition to his responsibilities within LVMPD, Charles has been an active member of the Police Managers and Supervisors Association (PMSA) Board of Directors since 2023. In this capacity, he advocates for the wellness and interests of supervisors, ensuring their voices are heard.

Charles also contributes to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Employees Benefits Trust (LVMEBT) as a Board of Directors member since 2023. Here, he oversees a self-funded retirement medical supplement plan, benefiting commissioned employees of LVMPD.

Further extending his commitment to service, Charles joined the Board of Directors of the PMSA Charitable Foundation in 2024. His involvement in this foundation reflects his dedication to charitable efforts and supporting the community.

Charles is a devoted board member who invests significant time and energy in addressing the needs of union members, consistently demonstrating his commitment to their welfare.
